Professional History
Dr. Dawn G. Gregg is a Full Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver and is the Discipline Director for the Information Systems Area. She also acts as the Director of Assurance of Learning for the Business School. Prior to her current role she has served as the Associate Dean of Programs and as the Administrative Director of the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems and her M.S. in Information Management from Arizona State University, her M.B.A. from Arizona State University West, and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Irvine. While at CU Denver, she founded and was CEO of Developing Minds Software. Prior to her doctoral studies, she was employed for nine years as a research and development engineer. Her current research focuses on sustainable IT research and on how to organize and share information online. Her work has been published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information and Management, the International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information Systems Frontiers, and Decision Support Systems.

- Dr. Gregg received the Dean's Scholar Award,
from The Business School in 2008.
- Dr. Gregg and Dr. Walczak's paper "Dressing Your
Online Auction Business For Success: An Experiment
Comparing Two E-Bay Businesses," was selected for the
Rutt Bridges Award, Fall 2008.
- Dr. Gregg's company, Developing Minds Software,
received first place in the Bard Center Business Plan
Competition on June 11, 2008.
- Dr. Gregg was the faculty sponsor for the
Outstanding Entrepreneurial Activity, Research and
Creative Activity Symposium Award Winner, April
2007, (Michael Erskine, student)
- Dr. Gregg received the Outstanding Tenure-Track
Teacher of the Year Award, from The Business
School in 2005.
